ABOUT ME
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of California and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. After my undergraduate studies, I pursued a career that combined my clinical and medical interests. I attended Vanderbilt University, the top ranked Speech-Language Pathology program in the United States. My experiences at the Aphasia Clinic and Vanderbilt Voice Center cultivated my interest in medical speech pathology working with adults. This was furthered by my specialized training in dysphagia (swallowing difficulty) and head/neck cancer upon completion of my externship at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Having worked in hospitals, clinics, and private practice, I was eager to take the pros of each setting to create my own practice that combines the latest research with quality care.
When I am not helping my patients, I enjoy cooking, painting, and spending time with loved ones. When I am not creating my own recipes, you can find me experimenting with different dysphagia-friendly recipes to share with my patients.
