I combine evidenced based practices that focus on each patient’s individual needs and avoid a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Therapy should be as unique as the person. My holistic and patient-centered approach leads to improved therapeutic outcomes.

I use my knowledge and skill-set to empower my patients to make the right decisions for them.

Who are YOU?

What are YOUR goals?

What are the challenges YOU face?

A law school professor was referred to me for dysphonia (voice problem). During therapy, I discovered his true motivation was to return to lecturing. I was able to create a plan that both resolved his dysphonia and got him back in the classroom.

I don’t put limits on anyone.

After 22+ surgeries, multiple rounds of chemoradiation, and one feeding-tube later, an artist with head/neck cancer was referred to me with the prognosis of never eating again. While therapy never comes without its challenges, we did not let this prognosis define her. Fast-forward two years later, she is eating eggplant parmesan and eclairs for dessert. Perhaps most importantly, she has started eating dinner again with her husband for the first time in years.

Integration is key.

I consider all aspects of a person’s life from personal interests to support systems. I collaborate with patients, families, and their healthcare team to create a personalized plan of care, and leverage patients’ unique strengths and motivation to meet their goals.

Quality over quantity.

To maintain this quality standard, I limit the number of patients I treat so I can dedicate time to each person and stay up-to-date with the latest research.
